Education & Skills

Empowerment that lasts a lifetime

To truly break the cycle of trafficking and exploitation, we must do more than rescue. We must equip.

Victims of sex trafficking face unimaginable trauma – their rights stripped away, their bodies violated, their self-worth shattered. Many live with the long-term consequences of HIV, abuse, and deep psychological scars. They are often left without education, income, or a sense of purpose.

The Krishna Rao Foundation believes that every survivor deserves the opportunity not just to heal, but to thrive.

That’s why we support education and skills-based programmes that restore dignity, rebuild confidence, and unlock sustainable futures for both vulnerable children and trafficked women.

Education for girls rescued from domestic servitude. 60 girls are pursuing everything from primary school to postgraduate education – some are now employed, others are in vocational training, all building new lives.

Odanadi

Community-led prevention and skill-building. Odanadi’s ‘Voices Against Violence’ programme empowers the most vulnerable with knowledge, education, and economic opportunity, tackling trafficking at its roots.

From survival to self-reliance

Education isn’t just about classrooms. It’s about choice. It’s about hope.

Our partners create spaces where children and young women are seen, heard, and equipped to build lives on their own terms. Whether through a football pitch, a classroom inside a museum, or a skills workshop, each programme transforms potential into power.

Because when a girl learns, she leads. When a child is protected, a future is secured.
