Anti-Child Trafficking

United to protect, committed to heal

India is one of the world’s epicentres of child trafficking – a source, a transit, and a destination.

In the wake of globalisation, children are being trafficked across borders for labour, sex work, domestic servitude and illegal adoption. Many are “rescued” only to be placed into poorly run institutions or returned to unsafe environments – often retraumatised and unprotected.

To break this cycle, the Krishna Rao Foundation funds nine dedicated initiatives that work to prevent trafficking, rescue victims, and restore dignity through education, shelter, counselling, healthcare and reintegration.

Together, we’re reaching children before traffickers do – and giving those already affected a way forward.

Together, we’re turning the tide
