ABOUT

A quiet commitment to dignity, justice, and opportunity

Why we give

We never set out to create a foundation. We set out to quietly do what felt right, with integrity, purpose, and love.

Founded by Krishna and Sandra Rao, this is a deeply personal, family-led commitment to those too often left behind, particularly women and children impacted by violence, poverty, and injustice.

Our work is not about recognition. It’s about action, quiet, steady, and grounded in trust.

We support work that:

Keeps children safe
By protecting them from trafficking and exploitation, and helping them heal and thrive.

Uplifts women
Supporting their right to live free from violence, with the tools to build independent futures.

Opens access to opportunity
Through education, training, and support that breaks cycles of poverty and exclusion.

Promotes justice for all
Strengthening community-led efforts to uphold dignity, rights, and fairness.

Our approach

1. Listen first
We begin with humility—listening before acting, learning before leading.

2. Partner deeply
We build long-term relationships rooted in trust, not tokenism.

3. Focus locally
We support community-led solutions that understand local realities.

4. Stay accountable
Every project is tracked, reviewed, and measured for real-world impact.

But we don’t measure success in numbers. We measure it in dignity restored, futures rebuilt, and voices heard.

A partnership that matters

“iPartner India didn’t come to us with a proposal. They came to understand why we give. That’s where everything began.”

Working with iPartner India has helped us direct our support to grassroots efforts, especially those protecting children from trafficking and abuse. Their integrity has been central to everything we’ve done together.

From our family to theirs

This isn’t about grand gestures. It’s about responsibility. And doing what we can, where we can. We don’t give to change the world. We give to help change someone’s world. That, for us, is enough.
